He may come off as stone faced & cold, but he really is quite amiable. So long as he is respected, he will respect in turn. A good speaker & typically good at defusing situations- but in no way is this Demon a push over, he will always stand up for what he believes is right. While composed and confident about himself and his skills, he is a perfectionist to an intense degree and can be extremely self critical when making mistakes.

Once; he was a proud, prestigious man.

Born of two noble houses in the realm of Eluryh, the realm of Demons and like-kind. His mother hailed from a long line of wisdom keepers, those who recorded everything in their kingdom. She worked as a scribe for the king, keeping meticulous records of their land & her life in a family grimoire. His father was a knight of action; a general serving their province's king, & a personal body guard of choice when he was not off guiding troops. The two met through convenience of their jobs time and time again, courted, and eventually married under the scribe's family name. Years later they were blessed with a son; Sahil.
From an early age he was groomed to be their protege; adept in magic as taught to him by his mother, working through endless evenings of spells and casting until she deemed him worthy enough to be passed the family Grimoire. And when life permitted, he trained with his father to wield a trident proficiently alongside his magic. Intense pressure to succeed and appease those who watched him grow made him a perfectionist; afraid of failure and prone to working himself to exhaustion. A militaristic life under his parents landed him in the most obvious job he was suited for; a life in the army.

He rose in the ranks over the years; coming closer to working at his father's side as a mage in the army and working for the king which they served. There was little love to be found between them; his father worked as if he were another soldier, yet reaped the praise from Sahil's exploits in battle. Never once was the demon resentful of this, for when the time came & his father stepped down; he took his place as a general.
It seemed to Sahil like his role was clear; the king pointed, he went and took care of things- but their ideas of taking care of things laid in opposite motives.
Sahil never suffered in the same way common folk did; but he sympathized with them. When they suffered, he tried to resolve things. But trying to fix things turned out to be a difficult task. Too often complaints were met with bloodshed, innocent people trying to support themselves ending up dead at his hands or the hands of others who were to be following him. Sahil & the king already shared little love between them, but it was unthinkable for a minion to question the word of a higher up. When opposition arose, no matter who from, it was smothered out quickly. Like a candle whose wick had burned short; Sahil was tossed out for disagreeing one too many times too loudly with the king's wishes; and the worst sort of punishment bestowed upon him.

He was turned into a public statement; follow, or suffer the same fate, his wings removed and he cast from the prestige his family was graced with. In the end all the training & years of service did nothing for him, he was just another pawn to be thrown away and replaced when his usefulness ended.
With fresh wounds, he fled from Eluryh to Hyrule, which presented itself as a haven to begin again. The matters of the Demon realm are no longer of any concern to him, and he cares not to oppose or follow the Demon king of Hyrule for fear of making a mistake which could end his life permanently.
