1. The pictured scene is a New Year's Eve Party @ M. Enoch's home in the French Village of Samois-sur-Seine ~ circa December 31st, 1938.
Mafalda Aloysia née Brindisi Rimar (center) strikes a glamorous pose. Her confident looking face defines the word "attitude."
The Rimar Family escaped France to Turkey shortly before Germany invaded in May 1940.
The outbreak of World War Two dramatically altered the course of our family's destiny. While M. Enoch (standing far right) survived World War Two, his wife (pictured w/ her arm resting on her husband's shoulder) died in the Holocaust.

While nearly all of our family's collection of vintage film negatives require some degree of restoration, this amazing image is the exception to the rule.
2. Postcard mailed by Mafalda (Brindisi) Rimar from her home in Samois-sur-Seine, France to her parents in \u0130zmir, Turkey ~ circa November 6th, 1934. Just 11 days after writing this correspondence, Mafalda gave birth to her 2nd child & only daughter - Marlene.
