BLACK GARMENTS is a research video project, that strives to reveal the different meanings of the colour black in fashion and clothing, while arguing that black is the colour of duality and opposition.
Considering fashion theories, different cultures, hybridity and new transcultural forms of Westernsocieties, this video has carved a path among an array of forms of representation, meanings, thoughts, symbols and concepts, in order to understand our ways of being as individuals. It consists of interviews with individuals that use black clothing on their body, as an illustration of disparate opinions and ideas related to the subject.
