An article from Who Magazine from September 1982. It explains a much watered-down version of Philippine Senator Tito Sotto's involvement in the Pepsi Paloma rape case.Pepsi was a 15 year-old actress who was, according to other more detailed account, drugged and date raped by comedians Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Richie D Horsey. Tito Sotto--the third member of the comedy troupe Tito, Vic and Joey--became an accomplice, so the story went, because he helped cover up the story and coerced the young actress to drop the legal case she had filed against the three rapists. She died approximately three years after the rape case was dropped. Her death was ruled a suicide, but the news at the time pointed at a different story. She was allegedly murdered by a hitman.
