- \\r and \
characters in text fields. The \
characters in theory should have been replaced, but (some?) haven't been. It should be safe to split on \\r\
. - Some objects have a strange coordinate of -2147483648. Unknown if the builder found a trick to accomplish this, or if this is a glitch of some sort.
- The text is encoded as Windows-1252. As Active Worlds supported Unicode in 2017, this implies some data may have been lost.
This, combined with an atdump that reveals world properties (including ground height and sky) and the 3d models (obtainable from https://www.activeworlds.com/web/starterkit.php, which has been archived in the Wayback Machine), should be sufficient to re-create Alphaworld.
