This BeiPing HuTongs Map has been printed and distributed in 1949 by BeiPing Scientific Press (located on South XinHua Street). It has been reprinted, twice the original dimensions, by Editions René Viénet in 2000, as a gift to a few friends. This may not be BeiJing most precious map but, still, it delivers some nostalgia (and references) about a city which does not exist anymore, after the destruction of most if not all HuTongs and the City Wall.
