BOOK DESCRIPTION:
"\tReporting the Korean War was not easy, as General Douglas MacArthur was quick to expel those who wrote things he didn't wish to see in print. In "Cry Korea," Reginald Thompson tried to set the record straight.Though no newcomer to war, Thompson was sickened by the carnage caused by America's military might. "Cry Korea" is not only a powerful piece of reportage, but a cry for us all to examine the all-too-resonant issues of modern conflict and intervention.\t\t"
NOTES FROM ME:
This book is quite old (and rare). In my case, the sleeve of my copy had suffered some damage here and there, but nothing too serious. My thought was that it would be a shame if there would be no possibility to recover / restore the sleeve, so I remade it (There are some second hand copies out there which have no sleeve, so you could restore it to its "original" state with this recreated sleeve). During recreation, I tried my best to stick to the original dimensions and positions of elements present on the sleeve, but I may have overlooked some details, so I apologize in advance.
The main difference between the recreated and original sleeve is that the back cover of the recreated sleeve has been reworked. The back cover of the original sleeve contained information / text about other (recommended) books of the publisher, which from my perspective contained non-relevant information. Therefore, I reworked the back cover and added some personal flair. Other small details which differ are the used font styles (similar looking fonts were used) and the size of the body text on the flaps (especially on the front flap).
There are three files: (1) the dimensions, (2) the sleeve and (3) the sleeve without folding lines. It is assumed that file (3) is printed in case a new sleeve has to be made. To look how to fold this new sleeve, look at file (1). File (2) was additionally added just because it can.
P.S. An idea is to print the sleeve as a poster and then fold it, since poster paper is coated and is harder than print paper
P.P.S. I do not know if all the dimensions are 100% precise, so take this into account when folding this sleeve
