One of the four famous buildings in China (Yueyang Tower, Tengwang Pavilion, Yellow Crane Tower, Stork and Magpie Tower). It stands on the west gate of Yueyang City, Hunan. It was built in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the sixth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1867). It is famous for Fan Zhongyan who wrote "The Story of Yueyang Tower". Pure wood structure, heavy eaves and helmet top, the main building has 3 floors, the height is 19.72 meters, and the yellow glazed tile roof. The whole building is connected to the tenon without a nail. It contains 12 sandalwood panels inscribed with the full text of "The Story of Yueyang Tower" written by Zhang Zhao, a famous calligrapher during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.

Tengwang Pavilion

One of the four famous buildings in China. Located on the bank of the Gan River in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. In the fourth year of Tang Yonghui (653), the emperor's son Teng Wang Li Yuanying supervised the construction of Hongzhou, and he was named after the title. In the second year of the Yuan Dynasty (675), the governor of Hongzhou Yan Bozhen feasted the guests here, and Wang Bo made an impromptu "Preface to the Pavilion of the King of Teng", which became a masterpiece that has been passed down through the ages. The Tengwang Pavilion lasted more than 1,300 years and was repeatedly destroyed and built. In 1926, it was burned down by Beiyang warlord Deng Ruzhuo. Later it was rebuilt.

Yellow Crane Tower
