Katya Grineva

I went on vacation. I was lucky enough to get a seat next to Katya Grineva, a world famous solo pianist. She told me about how she traveled the world putting on concerts, and that she was on her way to Guam for a concert there. After I retired, I was reading in the paper one day when I saw an article that read, Katya Grineva was coming to Mobile. My wife and I met her for lunch and she put on a private concert for Vivian and I. We attended her concert that evening and became Facebook friends. We attended her concerts for quite a few years after that. We still correspond now and then. You never know who you are going to meet on a long crossing across the wide Pacific.
