I\u2019m not sure I\u2019ve ever saw my dad in knickers. I guess styles may have changed somewhat by the time I was born. HA! Gardena had changed a lot, too. In the late 1960s, the company Horace worked for moved to Gardena, and for a short time I worked there too. Unfortunately, I don\u2019t believe I ever asked him where he thought their old house(s?) may have been in relation to our place of business. I also don\u2019t recall Horace being a serious hat wearer, but they were certainly the style up through at least the late 1950s. I\u2019ll blame it on my shit memory.
