You can't get down to the creek any longer, but when I lived in the Lynn Valley, N. Vancouver, in 1967/1968, my friends and I would hike down to the slide (it took about 45 minutes), get really high, and go over the awesome natural water slide you see! It's about a 15 foot drop, and while the water was never really warm, what an absolute blast! And there's another slide, with a shorter drop, just to the right of the picture. It was so fucking much fun!

The first picture, looking up the creek with no branches blocking the view, and the shot of the suspension bridge, were not taken by me. They're nicely composed pictures. Only the second photograph, the cluttered one with the small rocky beach on the right, is by me. Yea, I was probably high. For old time's sake only.
