She had painted her face, I see it clearly now. What color was it before I could not vision know-how. Stream after stream of color came down. She even painted the ground as she walked unbound.
A rainbow had melted over her head. The treasures within were now all dead. As if she took a shower of colors and now her skin had no true hue, tinted and tortured like an old tarnished orchard.
Perhaps she needed a second coating? Perhaps not. Isn't one color enough in a world of black and white stuff? Mayhap, I just wonder if she didn't get hit by a bolt of colored thunder?
Or maybe it's better to be all colors so no one knows the real you. Under the skin, you know where it all begin, or begun. At least she didn't shoot herself with a loaded paint gun.
And alas she became what she wanted to be in a sea of antiquity. As time gently passed she turned into colored glass.
