The saw mill is driven by 'Dreadnought', a general purpose traction engine built in 1909 by John Fowler & Co, engineers, of Hunslet, Leeds, England. Fowler also produced traction engines, agricultural ploughing implements and associated equipment, as well as railway equipment.
The demonstration shown took place during a traction engine rally held at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, Quainton, England, on the 21st Setp. 2019.
