This is my Study of Marcel Gromaire's 1927 Painting \u201cNUDE IN A JACKET.\u201d Born in Northern France in 1862, Gromaire Studied Law, Served in the Army and was wounded during the infamous Battle of the Somme in 1916. He studied Art in Paris and eventually relocated to the United States where he won the Carnegie Prize. My Study was done in Soft and Oil Pastels on a 14" X 91/2' Sheet of Manila Drawing Paper
