Sri Lanka's genocide against Tamils and it's war crimes. Today is International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, Over three thousand Tamils were abducted and disappeared between 2005 and 2008 by infamous white van operated by criminal Sri Lanka's military. In May 2009, Sri Lankan government maintained that only 70 thousand Tamils were inside the killing field aka No fire zone. The UN was informed that there were over 300 thousand Tamil civilians. UN knew exact casualty figures in March 2009 but they didn't release them. After the war ended on May 18, 2009, thousands of Tamils who were captured by Sri Lankan military disappeared.

Tamil Tigers who implemented Tamil's democratic mandate by creating Tamil Eelam in 1990 and defended the Tamil's country until May 18, 2009 fought and died as Tamil Eelam defense forces. They fallen as Tamil Eelam country's forces defending Tamils from Sri Lanka's genocide. Rest of the Tamil Tigers surrendered as POW (Poisoner of War) at the end of the war. Tamil Tigers never surrendered in any of the past battles. Part of them surrendered making it end of LTTE. Even at their death, they provided concrete evidence of war crimes and genocide. The UN was forced to do it's internal investigations because of evidence of war crimes.

India's and Sri Lanka's propaganda machine were powerful enough to convince west and European nations and UN to mute. In 2009, even when thousands of Tamil Diaspora voiced every part of world about the Tamil genocide, the civilized nations kept quite. USA asked Tamil Tigers to surrender. What happened to those surrendered was well known. Many were killed and most were disappeared. Many of the Sri Lankan military identified for committing war crimes through their trophy videos but no action taken. The west and Europe simply fooled by Sri Lanka and Congress party India, and now China own the whole Island and put it feet strongly at India's backyard. Tamils who were sovereign nation with self determination, now facing continuous genocide. Their lands were occupied and identity is systematically eliminated.

It was reported that Norway's Erik Solheim and UN was informed that there were over hundred of Tamil Tigers surrendering with white flag at the end of the war. Eric Sondheim confirmed that he informed UN about the surrender. All those POW were disappeared after the war ended. This is why it's war crimes. The UN has clear record on this and USA recent travel ban on Sri Lanka's military chief also because of this. It's other civilized countries including Canada's responsibility to apply punitive action on Sri Lanka for it's war crimes. In addition, the Sri Lanka's intention to claim only 70 thousand Tamils in the no fire zone was obvious that it intended to kill them all and it did killed thousands of Tamils after the war ended. This is why it's genocide in addition to Sri Lanka's continuous genocide against Tamils since early 1950s. The world can not expect Tamil Diaspora forget about it and move on. Voices for seeking justice will keep continue and the stories will be told to future generation as well. Tamils want their Nuremberg trials and a political solution with self determination. Since Tamil Tigers defended Tamils from Sri Lanka's genocide, they will be honored as heroes by Tamils and that history will remain in every Tamil's heart.
