bodice attached to full gathered skirt. Bodice structure provided by front and
back darts. Thin straps pieced together to accommodate for shortage of fabric.
Garment wraps around body and is secured in place by waist ties. Overlapping
front bodice panels create a deep V-neckline. Pockets set into side seams. Machine-stitched.
Created from a self-drafted pattern, issues with fit caused by misplaced darts. Inspired by 1950s day dresses.
