Event Calendar in Chrome with OffiDocs

DESCRIPTION

A simple event calendar with notifications

A simple Chrome extension that allows users to manage events and receive notifications.

Features

- Add events with title, date/time, and description
- Enable notifications for events
- View upcoming events in chronological order
- Delete events
- Receive notifications even when the browser is minimized (Windows only)

Installation

1. Download or clone this repository
2. Open Chrome and go to chrome:// extensions /
3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner
4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extension directory

Usage

1. Click the extension icon in Chrome to open the popup
2. Add new events:
- Enter event title
- Select date and time
- Add optional description
- Enable notifications if desired
- Click "Add Event"
3. View your events in the "Upcoming Events" section
4. Delete events by clicking the delete button

Notifications

- Notifications will appear at the scheduled time if enabled
- Make sure Chrome is running to receive notifications
- Windows notifications will appear even when Chrome is minimized

Requirements

- Google Chrome browser
- Windows OS for system notifications

Notes

- Events are stored locally in Chrome storage
- Notifications require Chrome to be running
- All times are based on your local timezone
