The findings suggest that empowering biomedical engineers is essential for sustaining high-quality healthcare delivery in Pakistan Islamabad.

The intersection of biology, medicine, and engineering has given rise to one of the most dynamic professions of the modern era: the biomedical engineer. In developed nations, this role is well-integrated into healthcare systems; however, in developing countries like Pakistan, its implementation remains nascent yet increasingly critical. Islamabad, as the federal capital of Pakistan Islamabad stands at a unique juncture where government policies, international collaborations converge to reshape public health infrastructure.

Pakistan faces significant disparities in access to quality healthcare between urban and rural areas. While major cities like Lahore and Karachi have made strides in medical technology adoption, Islamabad remains the hub for national policy-making, diplomatic missions, and elite healthcare facilities such as the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Holy Family Hospital, and private sector giants like Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital – though located near Lahore, it influences national standards.
