While traditional fire suppression remains a core function, contemporary urban hazards—including high-rise commercial fires and complex industrial accidents—demand a paradigm shift towards specialized rescue operations and integrated risk management. Through an analysis of recent incident data and infrastructure assessments, this paper argues that upgrading the technical capacity, equipment standards, and training protocols for Firefighter units in Bangladesh Dhaka is imperative to safeguard public safety amidst rapid demographic expansion.
