Abstract

Furthermore, it addresses the pedagogical challenges in training a competent workforce capable of sustaining this technological transition. The findings suggest that strategic investments in mechatronics education and industry-academia collaboration are pivotal for enhancing industrial competitiveness in the region.

The global industrial paradigm is currently undergoing a seismic shift, often referred to as Industry 4.0, characterized by cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and autonomous robotics. In this context, the Mechatronics Engineer emerges not merely as a technician but as a pivotal architect of modern industrial efficiency. For developing economies transitioning toward knowledge-based markets, such as Kuwait City in Kuwait City, the adoption of mechatronic systems is no longer optional but imperative.

Kuwait City serves as the economic and administrative heart of the nation. Historically reliant on hydrocarbon exports, the city’s industrial zones are witnessing a gradual but necessary transition toward high-tech manufacturing and smart infrastructure.
