Abstract

This paper examines the critical and evolving role of the Chemical Engineer within the unique socio-economic and geographic context of Brazil Brasília. As Brazil Brasília emerges as a pivotal hub for technological innovation, bio-energy production, and advanced materials in Latin America, the demand for specialized chemical engineering expertise has never been higher. This study analyzes how Chemical Engineers are adapting traditional process methodologies to address local challenges such as water scarcity in the Central Plateau, biodiversity preservation of the Cerrado biome, and the transition toward a circular economy.
