The journey toward a robust EMS system in Peru Lima requires commitment, investment, and a willingness to embrace modern medical standards. Elevating the Paramedic from an ambiguous support role to a critical allied health professional is the most viable path toward achieving universal health coverage that truly saves lives in one of South America’s most dynamic and challenging urban environments.
