The Radiologist, once primarily viewed as an interpreter of X-rays, has evolved into a central figure in multidisciplinary patient care. In Bangladesh Dhaka, the scope of practice for a Radiologist has expanded to include advanced modalities such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT) scans, and ultrasound-guided interventions. However, the rapid increase in diagnostic demand often outpaces the growth in specialized human resources.
