The scope of practice included preventive dentistry, restorative procedures, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.

A. Preventive Dentistry and Public Health

A significant portion of my time was dedicated to community outreach programs in Baghdad’s residential districts such as Al-Karkh and Al-Rasheed. The interdisciplinary collaboration between general dentists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons in major hospitals provided insight into comprehensive patient management plans. Strict adherence to sterilization guidelines was paramount to prevent cross-contamination, a lesson that reinforced my commitment to professional standards regardless of resource availability. It has equipped me with the clinical competence required for a successful career as a qualified Dentist, while simultaneously instilling a profound appreciation for cultural diversity and medical resilience.
