Within this dynamic environment, the role of the School Counselor has evolved from a purely administrative function to a pivotal component of holistic student development.
This report focuses specifically on my placement within an international school situated in the heart of Kuwait City, one of the most cosmopolitan areas in the Middle East. This setting provided a unique vantage point to observe how multicultural dynamics influence student behavior, academic performance, and emotional well-being. The intersection of traditional Islamic values with Western educational methodologies creates a complex landscape that requires counselors to possess high levels cultural intelligence and adaptive counseling techniques.
