Notes and Terms of This Invoice
1. This Invoice is issued by Dr. Mariana E. Castellanos, an Academic Researcher affiliated with the University of Buenos Aires, in accordance with the terms established in Contract No. IIPP-2025-0034, executed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on December 10, 2024.
2. All services described in this Invoice were performed within the jurisdiction of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Academic Researcher confirms full compliance with the ethical standards of the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the Argentine National Office of Research (CONICET) guidelines for academic integrity.
3. Payment shall be made via electronic bank transfer (transferencia bancaria) to the CBU account specified above within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue of this Invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA) for overdue obligations.
4. The IVA (Impuesto al Valor Agregado) of 21% is applied in accordance with the Argentine tax code (Ley 23.349). The percepción amounts are withheld as mandated by Ley 27.430 for public procurement transactions in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and are credited against the Academic Researcher's annual tax obligations.
5. This Invoice constitutes the final billing for the research period January 2025 through May 2025. No additional charges shall apply unless a formal amendment to the contract is executed in writing by both parties in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
6. The Academic Researcher retains all intellectual property rights over the research methodology, analytical frameworks, and unpublished data generated during the course of this engagement. The client institution receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the findings for policy purposes within the City of Buenos Aires.
7. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying contract shall be resolved through the competent courts of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in accordance with Argentine civil and commercial law.
