Terms & Conditions – Academic Researcher Engagement in Australia Brisbane
- This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for professional services rendered by the undersigned Academic Researcher in the capacity of an independent consultant engaged by the Queensland Institute of Applied Sciences, Australia Brisbane.
- All services described in this Invoice were performed in accordance with the Australian Code of Research Integrity (ACRI) and the ethical guidelines established by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
- Intellectual property arising from the research activities outlined in this Invoice shall be jointly owned by the Academic Researcher and the Client, as stipulated in the Master Service Agreement dated 1 January 2025.
- Confidentiality obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Queensland Information Privacy Act 2009 remain in full force and effect for a period of five (5) years following the completion of the engagement.
- This Invoice is subject to the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the Queensland Small Claims Commission or the Federal Court of Australia, Brisbane Registry.
- The Academic Researcher reserves the right to publish findings derived from this engagement, subject to a thirty (30) day prior written notice to the Client for review and comment, in accordance with standard academic practice in Australia Brisbane.
- All amounts stated in this Invoice are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 10%, as registered under the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
