Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
- This Invoice constitutes the final billing for all Academic Researcher services rendered during the stated service period in Japan Kyoto. No additional charges shall apply unless a written amendment to the cooperation agreement is executed by both parties.
- All intellectual property, including drafts, annotations, and research data generated during this engagement in Japan Kyoto, shall be jointly owned by Kyoto University Research Institute and the University of Edinburgh, as outlined in Article 7 of the bilateral agreement.
- The Academic Researcher warrants that all archival materials accessed in Japan Kyoto were obtained with proper institutional permissions and that no restricted or classified documents were reproduced without explicit authorization from the relevant Japanese cultural heritage authorities.
- Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the Invoice date. The University of Edinburgh Accounts Payable Office should direct any queries regarding this Invoice to the undersigned Academic Researcher or to the Kyoto University Research Institute Finance Division.
- This Invoice is governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying services shall be resolved through mediation in Japan Kyoto before proceeding to arbitration.
