Important: In the event of late payment, interest at the statutory rate as defined in Article 6:119a of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) will be applied. Additionally, a fixed cost of €40 for collection expenses will be charged as per Article 6:119b BW.
Terms and Conditions – Academic Research Invoice
- This Invoice is issued by an independent Academic Researcher operating from the Netherlands Amsterdam area. All intellectual property rights in the research deliverables described herein shall transfer to the client upon full and final payment of the total amount stated on this Invoice.
- The Academic Researcher warrants that all data collection, analysis, and reporting activities were conducted in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch implementation act (Uitvoeringswet AVG).
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying research engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in accordance with Dutch law.
- The client acknowledges that the findings presented in the research report represent the independent academic judgment of the Academic Researcher and do not constitute a guarantee of specific policy outcomes.
- This Invoice is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. After this period, the Academic Researcher reserves the right to reissue the Invoice with updated VAT rates should legislative changes occur in the Netherlands.
- All communications regarding this Invoice, including queries, disputes, or requests for itemized clarification, should be directed to the email address listed in the issuer section above.
