Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
This Invoice is issued by Dr. Adewale O. Okonkwo, a registered Academic Researcher operating in Nigeria Lagos, in accordance with the terms of Contract No. CDS-RES-2025-012. The following conditions govern the payment and delivery of services described herein:
- Payment of the full Invoice amount of NGN 1,253,575.00 is due within fourteen (14) calendar days from the Invoice date of 14 June 2025. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- All services rendered by the Academic Researcher are subject to the ethical guidelines of the National Research Ethics Committee (NREC), Nigeria, and the institutional review board of the University of Lagos.
- The Academic Researcher retains full intellectual property rights over all methodologies, analytical frameworks, and unpublished data generated during the course of this engagement in Nigeria Lagos. The client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the final report for internal policy and academic purposes.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying contract shall be resolved through mediation under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004), with the seat of arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.
- This Invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Academic Researcher reserves the right to reissue the Invoice with updated tax calculations as per the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) guidelines applicable in Nigeria Lagos.
- All personal data collected during fieldwork in Nigeria Lagos shall be handled in strict compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019. Data shall be anonymised and stored securely for a period of five years before destruction.
- The Academic Researcher shall provide a certificate of completion and a signed attestation of all deliverables upon full and final settlement of this Invoice.
