1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On Accounting" (No. 402-FZ) and the applicable provisions of the Russian Tax Code governing the provision of professional services by an individual Academic Researcher operating as a sole proprietor in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
2. All services described herein were performed by Dr. Alexander V. Petrov in his capacity as a Senior Academic Researcher affiliated with Saint Petersburg State University. The Academic Researcher warrants that all data, analyses, and publications produced under this engagement are original, free from plagiarism, and conducted in full compliance with the ethical standards of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the institutional research integrity policies of Saint Petersburg State University.
3. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue of this Invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 0.1% per calendar day on the outstanding balance, in accordance with Article 395 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
4. The Academic Researcher reserves all intellectual property rights over unpublished research data, methodologies, and draft manuscripts until full payment of this Invoice has been received and confirmed in writing by the client. Upon receipt of payment, a non-exclusive license to use the final research report for internal consortium purposes shall be granted.
5. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Should the client require a revised or reissued Invoice, a written request must be submitted to the Academic Researcher's office at Saint Petersburg State University no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the expiry of the original Invoice.
6. All disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying service agreement shall be resolved through the Arbitration Court of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, in accordance with the jurisdictional provisions of the Russian Federation.
7. The Academic Researcher confirms that all applicable taxes, including Value Added Tax (VAT) at the standard Russian rate of 20% and the 13% personal income tax withholding, have been correctly calculated and are reflected in this Invoice. The client is not required to make any additional tax payments to the Federal Tax Service of Russia on behalf of the Academic Researcher.
8. This document constitutes a legally binding financial record of the professional services rendered. The Academic Researcher in Saint Petersburg, Russia, acknowledges receipt of this Invoice as confirmation of the agreed-upon scope of work and compensation for the period specified above.
