Terms and Conditions
1. This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for Academic Researcher services rendered in accordance with Contract CT-VC-2025-0089, executed in Venezuela Caracas on January 5, 2025.
2. All intellectual property rights pertaining to research outputs, publications, and data generated under this engagement shall remain with the Academic Researcher unless otherwise specified in the master service agreement. The client institution retains a non-exclusive license for internal academic use.
3. The Academic Researcher warrants that all services described in this Invoice were performed in compliance with the ethical standards of the Venezuelan Association of Researchers (AVI) and the institutional review board of the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas.
4. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Caracas, Venezuela, in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Law of the Republic of Venezuela.
5. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Academic Researcher reserves the right to reissue the document with updated currency conversion rates.
6. The client acknowledges that the Academic Researcher operates as an independent professional consultant and is not an employee of the billing institution. All social security and tax obligations are the sole responsibility of the Academic Researcher in Venezuela Caracas.
