Terms, Conditions & Important Notes for This Invoice
- This invoice is issued in accordance with the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority (ERCA) regulations governing service billing in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. All amounts are denominated in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) at the prevailing National Bank of Ethiopia exchange rate.
- Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the issue date of this invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Ethiopian commercial law.
- The Actor (service provider) confirms that all performance services listed herein were rendered physically within the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and are subject to Ethiopian entertainment licensing requirements administered by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, Addis Ababa headquarters.
- The 15% Value Added Tax (VAT) is applied in compliance with the Ethiopian VAT Proclamation No. 981/2016. The 2% Withholding Tax is deducted at source per the Ethiopian Income Tax Proclamation No. 979/2016 and shall be remitted by the client to the ERCA office in Addis Ababa.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia account specified above, or by certified cheque payable to Tadesse Performance Arts LLC, Addis Ababa branch. Cash payments exceeding ETB 50,000 are not accepted per Ethiopian anti-money-laundering directives.
- All intellectual property rights related to the Actor's original character interpretations, vocal performances, and method-acting techniques developed during the engagement remain the property of the Actor unless otherwise agreed in a separate written contract executed in Addis Ababa.
- This invoice constitutes a legally binding financial document under Ethiopian law. Any disputes arising from this invoice shall be resolved through the Addis Ababa City Commercial Court or, at the mutual agreement of both parties, through arbitration at the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Centre in Addis Ababa.
- The Actor warrants that all services were performed in full compliance with Ethiopian labor laws, entertainment industry codes of conduct, and the professional standards set by the Ethiopian Actors' Guild, headquartered in Addis Ababa.
