Important Notes & Terms of Service
1. This invoice covers all professional actor services rendered in Nairobi, Kenya, during the period of 10–14 June 2025. All performances, recordings, workshops, and appearances were conducted within the Nairobi metropolitan area.
2. The actor, James Mwangi Kariuki, is a registered professional performer with the Kenya Actors Association and holds a valid KRA Personal Identification Number (PIN) for all tax compliance purposes under the Kenya Revenue Authority.
3. All intellectual property rights related to voice-over recordings and filmed performances remain with the client (EABC) as per the signed Service Agreement dated 5 June 2025. The actor retains the right to use still images for personal portfolio purposes only.
4. The withholding tax of 5% has been deducted in accordance with Section 3(1)(b) of the Kenya Income Tax Act, 2015, applicable to payments made to resident actors for services rendered in Kenya.
5. VAT at 16% has been applied as mandated by the Value Added Tax Act, 2013, of the Republic of Kenya. This invoice is issued in compliance with all Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) e-invoicing requirements.
6. Any disputes arising from this invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1995 of Kenya.
7. This invoice is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. After this period, the client must request a re-issued invoice from the actor's management office in Nairobi.
