Please ensure payment is made within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date. Late payments will attract a penalty of 2% per month as stipulated under the Uganda Commercial Law. Notes & Special Conditions
This invoice is issued in accordance with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) tax regulations and the Uganda Actors Guild (UAG) standard fee schedule for professional actors performing in Kampala. The actor, Mr. David Okello Mwanga, is a registered member of the Uganda Actors Guild and holds a valid performing licence issued by the Uganda National Theatre. All services rendered under this invoice were performed within the Kampala City boundaries, Uganda. The client acknowledges that the actor's performance rights, including the right to be credited in all promotional materials for the Kampala City Cultural Centre production, are protected under the Uganda Copyright and Performance Rights Act, 2006. Any reproduction, recording, or broadcasting of the actor's performance without prior written consent from both the actor and Stages of Kampala Entertainment Ltd. is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action under Ugandan law.
Terms and Conditions
- This invoice is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Payment must be received by 30 June 2025 to avoid late payment penalties as governed by the Uganda Commercial Law.
- All services described in this invoice were performed by a professional actor registered with the Uganda Actors Guild in Kampala, Uganda. The actor's professional liability insurance is maintained by Stages of Kampala Entertainment Ltd.
- The client agrees to provide the actor with a safe working environment in compliance with the Uganda Labour Act, 2003, including adequate rest periods, hydration, and appropriate stage safety measures during all performances and rehearsals in Kampala.
- Any disputes arising from this invoice shall be resolved through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the Uganda Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2000, before escalation to the courts of Uganda.
- This invoice constitutes a legally binding document under the laws of the Republic of Uganda. The actor's fees are non-refundable once performance dates have been confirmed and rehearsals have commenced.
- All VAT and withholding tax calculations are in compliance with the Uganda Income Tax Act, 2010, and the Uganda Value Added Tax Act, 2001. The client is responsible for filing the withholding tax return with the Uganda Revenue Authority within the statutory period.
