Terms and Conditions of Service
- Jurisdiction: This Invoice and the associated architectural services are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due within 30 days from the date of issue. Late payments will incur an interest charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, in accordance with standard commercial practices in Malaysia.
- Scope of Work: The fees quoted cover the specific architectural services described above. Any additional services, such as site supervision during construction or changes to the design scope requested by the client after approval, will be billed separately at the prevailing hourly rates of the Architect.
- Regulatory Compliance: Skyline Architectural Studio ensures that all designs comply with the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL) 1984, the Fire Services Act 1988, and the specific planning guidelines of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). However, the client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and approvals.
- Intellectual Property: All architectural drawings, designs, and documents remain the intellectual property of Skyline Architectural Studio until full payment of this Invoice and all subsequent invoices is received. Upon full payment, the client is granted a license to use the designs for the specific project in Kuala Lumpur.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under this agreement if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or strikes affecting operations in Malaysia.
- Validity: This Invoice is valid for 60 days from the date of issue. If payment is not received within this period, the Architect reserves the right to suspend further services on the project.
