Terms and Conditions for Architectural Services
Payment Terms: Payment is due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Late payments will incur a finance charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, in accordance with Illinois commercial law.
Scope of Work: This invoice covers the professional services rendered by Windy City Architectural Group as detailed above. Any additional services requested by the client outside the original scope of work will be billed separately at the prevailing hourly rate of $225.00 per hour.
Regulatory Compliance: As a licensed Architect operating in the United States, specifically within the jurisdiction of Chicago, Illinois, we guarantee that all designs adhere to the current Chicago Building Code, fire safety regulations, and accessibility standards (ADA). However, the client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and paying associated city fees.
Intellectual Property: All drawings, specifications, and designs remain the intellectual property of Windy City Architectural Group until full payment of all invoices is received. Upon payment, the client is granted a license to use these documents for the specific project located in Chicago, Illinois.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this invoice or the services provided shall be resolved through mediation in Cook County, Illinois. If mediation fails, the matter shall be settled in the courts of the State of Illinois.
