Invoice Terms, Conditions & Notes
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the terms of Contract ANO-AST-2025-012 between the Astronomer, Dr. Farid Ahmadi, and the Afghanistan National Observatory Directorate. All services were rendered in and around Afghanistan Kabul during the period of 1 March 2025 through 31 May 2025.
2. Payment of this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of issue. Remittance shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Astronomer. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated in the master service agreement.
3. All astronomical data, observation logs, and reports generated by the Astronomer during the service period remain the intellectual property of the Afghanistan National Observatory Directorate upon full settlement of this Invoice. The Astronomer retains the right to reference the work in academic publications with prior written consent.
4. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Any disputes regarding the scope, quality, or billing of services described herein shall be resolved through the arbitration clause specified in the governing contract, with jurisdiction in Afghanistan Kabul.
5. The Astronomer confirms that all equipment used, including the 400mm Cassegrain telescope, CCD imaging arrays, spectrograph, and portable navigation instruments, was maintained in operational condition throughout the engagement in Afghanistan Kabul. No additional equipment costs are included in this Invoice.
6. This Invoice does not include costs for the construction or installation of the proposed planetarium facility. A separate Invoice will be issued upon completion of the design phase and formal approval by the Directorate.
7. The Astronomer acknowledges receipt of all safety briefings and access permits required to operate in the Afghanistan Kabul region and confirms full compliance with local regulations governing astronomical observation, public gatherings, and educational activities.
