Terms, Conditions & Payment Instructions
This Invoice is issued by Dr. Eleanor Whitfield, Astronomer, operating under Stellar Research & Consultancy Pty Ltd, registered in the State of Queensland, Australia Brisbane. All services described herein were performed in accordance with the professional standards expected of a licensed Astronomer in Australia and comply with the relevant Queensland Health and Safety regulations for public-facing scientific events.
- Payment Due: Full payment of $9,674.50 AUD is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date, no later than 15 July 2025.
- Payment Method: Please remit payment via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the following account: BSB 062-000, Account No. 1234 5678, held at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Brisbane CBD branch. Reference: INV-2025-BNE-0472.
- Late Payment: In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the Trust's procurement policy, a late payment fee of 2% per month (or part thereof) will be applied to any outstanding balance after the due date.
- Intellectual Property: All lecture materials, research reports, predictive models, and astrophotographic data produced by the Astronomer under this engagement remain the intellectual property of Stellar Research & Consultancy Pty Ltd. The Brisbane Botanic Gardens & Observatory Trust is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to reproduce these materials for internal educational and archival purposes within Australia Brisbane and the broader Queensland region.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the associated services shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia Brisbane, and may be referred to the Queensland Small Claims Commission if the amount in dispute does not exceed the statutory threshold.
- Reimbursement: All travel and accommodation costs listed in Line Item 6 are itemised for transparency. Receipts are available upon written request to the Astronomer's office in Indooroopilly, Australia Brisbane.
This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for professional Astronomer services rendered in Australia Brisbane.
