Invoice Notes & Payment Instructions
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the tax regulations of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the professional standards governing Astronomer services in DR Congo Kinshasa. All amounts are stated in Congolese Francs (CDF) unless otherwise specified.
2. Payment for this Invoice shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of the issue date via bank transfer to the account of the Astronomer, Dr. Emmanuel Kambale Mbuyi, at the National Bank of the Congo (BNC), Branch Gombe, DR Congo Kinshasa. Account Reference: 00123-456789-01. Please quote Invoice Number INV-KIN-2025-0042 on all remittances.
3. Late payment on this Invoice shall attract a penalty interest of 1.5% per month, calculated from the due date, in compliance with the commercial code of DR Congo Kinshasa.
4. The Astronomer reserves the right to suspend ongoing services, including the planetarium dome supervision and radio telescope calibration, should payment not be received by the stated due date. All work-in-progress will be documented and a supplementary Invoice issued for completed portions.
5. This Invoice constitutes the final settlement for all Astronomer services rendered under Contract ASTR/MEES/2025/019 in DR Congo Kinshasa for the period January 2025 through June 2025. Any additional services requested after the due date will be subject to a separate Invoice.
6. The client acknowledges that the Astronomer's professional judgment, observational data, and technical recommendations provided in DR Congo Kinshasa are delivered in good faith and in accordance with internationally recognized astronomical standards. The Astronomer is not liable for delays caused by adverse weather conditions affecting observation windows in the DR Congo Kinshasa region.
7. A copy of this Invoice has been filed with the National Directorate of Taxes (DGI) in DR Congo Kinshasa. The client may request a duplicate copy by contacting the Astronomer's office at the Kinshasa Astronomical Observatory.
