Invoice Notes & Terms
This Invoice is issued by the undersigned Astronomer, Dr. Samuel Okello Mwangi, in fulfilment of the professional services agreement (Contract No. UNOSA-AST-2025-012) executed between the Kampala Astronomical Research Institute and the Uganda National Observatory & Space Agency. All services described herein were performed in and around Uganda Kampala and its designated highland observation sites during the period of January through June 2025.
Payment of this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date, no later than 15 July 2025. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated below. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 2% per month as stipulated in the master service agreement. The Astronomer reserves the right to suspend ongoing field operations and data delivery until full settlement of this Invoice is confirmed in writing by the client's finance department.
All astronomical data, raw observations, processed images, and the final technical report referenced in this Invoice remain the intellectual property of the Uganda National Observatory & Space Agency upon full payment. The Astronomer retains the right to publish peer-reviewed findings in international journals, provided that the client is given a minimum of ninety (90) days' prior notice before any such publication. This Invoice does not constitute a warranty of any kind beyond the accuracy and completeness of the Astronomer's professional work as described in the line items above.
