Payment Terms & Important Notes
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Book VI) and the VAT Code applicable in Belgium Brussels. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue, as specified in the commercial contract between the Biologist and the Municipality of Belgium Brussels.
- Payment Method: Bank transfer to IBAN BE68 5390 0754 7034 (BIC: GEBABEBB). Please reference Invoice No. INV-2025-00847 in your transfer remarks.
- Late Payment: In accordance with Belgian law (Law of 2 July 1991 on late payment in commercial transactions), a penalty of 10% per annum shall apply to any overdue amount, in addition to a fixed indemnity of €40 for recovery costs.
- Disputes: Any dispute arising from this Invoice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Belgium Brussels. The applicable law is Belgian law.
- Professional Registration: The Biologist, Dr. Elena Vandermeer, is registered with the Belgian Order of Biologists (Registre des Biologistes) under number BB-2019-04472 and holds a valid professional liability insurance policy (Policy No. INS-BIO-2025-8821, coverage: €5,000,000).
