Payment Terms & Conditions
This Invoice must be settled in full within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. Payment shall be made in Congolese Francs (CDF) via bank transfer to the account of Kinshasa Master Carpenter Co. at Banque Africaine du Commerce Extérieur (BACEC), Branch: Gombe, Kinshasa, DR Congo. Account No: 0012345678901. Reference: KMC-2025-0047.
A late payment penalty of 2% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance after the due date. The Carpenter reserves the right to suspend all ongoing work on the DR Congo Kinshasa project site if payment is not received within the stipulated period. All prices quoted on this Invoice are inclusive of materials, labor, and standard finishing unless otherwise noted.
Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved under the commercial laws of the Democratic Republic of Congo, with jurisdiction vested in the Commercial Court of Kinshasa.
Notes & Additional Information
1. All carpenter work described in this Invoice was executed in accordance with the approved project specifications and the written work order dated 28 May 2025. The lead Carpenter, Jean-Pierre Mbuyi, personally supervised all phases of fabrication and installation.
2. All hardwood materials sourced for this project were procured from certified sustainable timber suppliers operating within DR Congo Kinshasa and its surrounding provinces. FSC-equivalent documentation is available upon request.
3. A two-year warranty is provided on all structural carpentry work. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials but does not cover damage caused by misuse, water exposure, or unauthorized modifications by third parties.
4. The client is requested to inspect all completed carpenter work within five (5) business days of the final handover. Any claims regarding workmanship must be submitted in writing to the Carpenter's office in Kinshasa within this period.
5. This Invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be subject to revision due to fluctuations in raw material costs in the DR Congo Kinshasa market.
