Payment Terms & Conditions
This Invoice is issued by Master Carpenter Jean-Luc Moreau, a registered artisan Carpenter operating in France Lyon, in accordance with French commercial law (Code de commerce, Articles L441-1 et seq.). Payment of the full Invoice amount of 22,236.00 EUR is due within 15 calendar days of the Invoice date, no later than 30 June 2025.
Payment may be made via bank transfer (virement bancaire) to the following account: IBAN FR76 3000 4000 0312 0001 2345 678, BIC BNPAFRPPXXX. Please reference Invoice number INV-2025-0347 in all correspondence and payment instructions.
A late payment penalty of 1.5% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance after the due date, in compliance with French regulations. Additionally, a fixed indemnity of 40 EUR for recovery costs will be charged on any overdue Invoice. The Carpenter reserves the right to suspend ongoing work in France Lyon if payment is not received within the stipulated period.
All carpentry work described in this Invoice is guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from the date of completion, covering defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee is provided by the Carpenter in accordance with French consumer protection law applicable in France Lyon.
Notes & Additional Information
- All timber materials used in this project were sourced from certified sustainable forests (PEFC/FSC) in compliance with French environmental standards.
- The Carpenter adhered to all applicable building regulations (Réglementation Thermique 2020) and local France Lyon urban planning requirements during the execution of this work.
- Insurance coverage for the Carpenter's work in France Lyon is maintained with AXA France, Policy No. AXA-2025-784512, covering public liability up to 5,000,000 EUR and professional indemnity up to 1,000,000 EUR.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de Lyon, France Lyon.
- This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment. The Carpenter thanks the client for entrusting this project and looks forward to future collaborations in France Lyon.
