Terms, Conditions & Notes
- Payment Terms: Payment of the full invoice amount of € 47,826.10 is due within 14 calendar days of the issue date (by 30 June 2025) via SEPA bank transfer to the IBAN listed above. Please reference Invoice No. 2025-0472 in your payment transfer.
- Warranty: All carpentry work performed by Berlin Meister Carpentry GmbH carries a statutory warranty of five (5) years in accordance with § 634a BGB (German Civil Code) for construction and building-related services. The warranty period commences on the date of final acceptance (Abnahme) by the client.
- Scope of Work: This invoice covers all carpentry, joinery, and woodwork services as described in the line items above. Any additional work requested after the initial contract scope will be invoiced separately with prior written approval from the client.
- Regulatory Compliance: All work has been executed in compliance with the German Building Code (Bauordnung – BauO Bln), DIN standards for wood construction, and the regulations of the Handwerkskammer Berlin (Chamber of Crafts). The master carpenter responsible for this project holds a valid Meisterbrief and is registered on the Handwerksrolle.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute arising from this invoice or the associated carpentry services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation. Should mediation fail, the competent court shall be the local court (Amtsgericht) in Berlin, Germany, as per § 29a ZPO.
- Environmental Note: All timber materials used in this project are sourced from FSC-certified or PEFC-certified forests. The carpenter has ensured that all wood waste has been recycled or disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with German environmental law.
- Invoice Validity: This invoice is valid for a period of 10 years from the date of issue, in accordance with § 147 Abs. 6 AO (German Tax Code). Please retain this document for your tax records. For VAT-deductible businesses, this invoice serves as a valid Vorsteuerabzug document.
