Invoice Notes & Payment Details
Payment Due: Full payment of this Invoice is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Invoice date, i.e., by 28 June 2025. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 10% per annum as permitted under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003.
Payment Method: Please remit payment via bank transfer to Wellington Master Carpenter Ltd, Account Name: Wellington Master Carpenter Ltd, Bank: ANZ New Zealand, Branch: Wellington CBD, Account Number: 01-0456-7890123-00, Reference: WMC-2025-0347. Warranty: All carpentry work detailed in this Invoice carries a twelve (12) month workmanship warranty from the date of final completion, in addition to any statutory guarantees under New Zealand law. The carpenter guarantees that all timber materials used are free from defects and sourced from sustainable New Zealand Wellington forestry operations.
Compliance: All structural carpentry work referenced in this Invoice has been carried out in accordance with the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) and the relevant provisions of the Building Act 2004. A Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) has been lodged with the Wellington City Council for the structural deck repair (Ref 03).
Terms and Conditions – Wellington Master Carpenter Ltd
1. This Invoice constitutes a binding agreement between Wellington Master Carpenter Ltd (the "Carpenter") and the client named above for the carpentry and joinery services described herein, performed in the Wellington region of New Zealand.
2. All prices quoted on this Invoice are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST) as required by the Inland Revenue Department of New Zealand.
3. The Carpenter reserves the right to issue a variation to this Invoice should additional work be requested by the client beyond the original scope. Any such variation will be agreed in writing prior to commencement of the additional work.
4. The client acknowledges that the Carpenter is a registered and licensed tradesperson operating under the Master Builders Federation of New Zealand and holds valid public liability insurance of no less than NZD 10,000,000.
5. Disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved in accordance with the Disputes Standard of the Master Builders Federation of New Zealand, or alternatively through the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand if the amount in dispute does not exceed NZD 25,000.
6. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Carpenter reserves the right to re-quote materials and labour rates.
