- This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Customs Act (S.C. 2014, c. 23) and the Customs Tariff of Canada, and is valid for the Canada Montreal customs jurisdiction under the authority of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
- Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, compounded monthly, in accordance with the Interest Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. I-6).
- All services rendered by the Customs Officer are subject to the professional standards set forth by the Canadian Association of Customs Brokers (CACB) and the regulatory framework of the CBSA Montreal Regional Directorate.
- The client acknowledges that all import and export documentation filed on their behalf in Canada Montreal shall be retained for a minimum of six (6) years as required by Section 32 of the Customs Act.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the mediation process of the Quebec Chamber of Commerce, Montreal, before any legal proceedings are initiated in the Superior Court of Quebec.
