Notes Regarding This Invoice
This invoice covers all services rendered by the assigned Customs Officer, David R. Thompson, during the month of May 2025. All customs clearance activities were conducted in compliance with the Customs Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-49) and the Customs Tariff as administered by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) at the Toronto Customs House and the Port of Toronto.
The Customs Officer confirmed that all imported goods cleared through Canada Toronto during this period met the requirements for entry, including proper documentation, accurate tariff classification, and payment of applicable duties and taxes. No penalties, seizures, or detention orders were issued against the client's shipments during the billing period.
Please note that the Customs Officer's services are provided under a retainer agreement (Contract No. TCTS-2024-0087) and are subject to the terms outlined in the master service agreement executed on January 15, 2024.
Terms and Conditions
1. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as permitted under the Ontario Business Corporations Act.
2. All amounts are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD). This invoice is subject to the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) at the combined Ontario rate of 13%, applicable to services rendered in Canada Toronto.
3. The Customs Officer reserves the right to adjust rates annually based on CBSA fee schedule updates and the Ontario minimum wage adjustments.
4. Disputes arising from this invoice shall be resolved through mediation in Toronto, Ontario, in accordance with the Ontario Arbitration Act, 1991.
5. This invoice does not constitute a guarantee of customs clearance. All import decisions remain at the sole discretion of the Canada Border Services Agency and the Customs Officer acting in an official capacity.
