Terms & Conditions – The Economist Subscription Agreement (Indonesia Jakarta)
- This Invoice constitutes a formal billing document under the Master Subscription Agreement dated 1 January 2025 between The Economist Group Ltd. and PT Nusantara Economic Research Institute, registered in Indonesia Jakarta.
- All digital access licenses for The Economist platform are non-transferable and restricted to the named Indonesia Jakarta office location unless a written amendment is executed by both parties.
- The Economist print editions delivered to Indonesia Jakarta are subject to Indonesian customs regulations. Any additional import duties levied by Bea Cukai (Indonesian Customs) beyond the amount stated in this Invoice shall be the responsibility of the client.
- Custom research briefings and EIU reports referenced in this Invoice are confidential and intended solely for the internal use of the subscribing economist team in Indonesia Jakarta. Redistribution, republication, or sharing of The Economist proprietary data without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
- Cancellation or modification of any line item in this Invoice must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the renewal date. Partial refunds will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
- Governing law: This Invoice and the underlying subscription agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of London. However, for matters pertaining to local delivery, customs clearance, and tax compliance in Indonesia Jakarta, the parties shall cooperate in good faith under applicable Indonesian regulations.
- The Economist Group reserves the right to update subscription pricing, digital access terms, and data pack contents with 60 days' written notice. Any such changes will be reflected in subsequent Invoices issued to the Indonesia Jakarta office.
