Invoice Notes and Terms
- This invoice pertains exclusively to the subscription and purchase of The Economist publications and digital access services. All content is licensed for internal corporate use at the client's Netherlands Amsterdam office only.
- Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the invoice date of 15 June 2025. Please remit payment to the IBAN account specified above. Late payments are subject to a statutory interest rate of 8% per annum as governed by Dutch commercial law (Burgerlijk Wetboek, Book 7).
- The Economist digital subscription will commence on 1 July 2025 and remain active for a full twelve-month period. The client may cancel or modify the subscription by providing thirty (30) days' written notice prior to the renewal date.
- Printed copies of The Economist will be dispatched from our distribution centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and are expected to arrive at the client's registered address within five to seven business days of the invoice date.
- This invoice is issued in compliance with the Dutch Electronic Invoicing Act (Wet elektronische facturatie) and the EU Directive on electronic invoicing. A digital copy of this invoice is valid and legally binding.
- Should the client require a duplicate invoice or wish to dispute any line item, please contact our billing department in Amsterdam, Netherlands, within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Reference invoice number NL-AMST-2025-00487 in all correspondence.
- The Economist is a globally recognised publication. All intellectual property rights associated with the content remain with The Economist Group. This invoice covers the right to access and read the material, not the right to reproduce or redistribute it.
